Work with the files on your computer Connect folders on your Mac or PC and Caiioo reads, searches, and edits your files right where they live — nothing is copied into the app. Open a text file or a Word document in Slate, edit it, and save it back when you're ready. See results, not just text When a picture beats a paragraph, the AI can render a small page — a dashboard, a comparison, an infographic — right inside the conversation. Ask to "show it inline" for anything it has already built.

Use all your devices as one Every conversation has a host device — the one that actually runs the work — shown on a chip in the composer. Message from your phone while the task runs on your Mac, with the Mac's folders and tools, and watch the answer stream on both screens. The Interface

Caiioo is simple: chat on the left, controls at the top, composer at the bottom.

Thread List

Your conversation history. Start new chats, search old ones, organize with archives.

Center: Chat Area

Where conversations happen. Messages, AI responses, and anything the AI creates (screenshots, documents, links) appear here.

Open a reply's reasoning or a tool's details and the view stops following the reply, so you can read at your own pace without being yanked back to the bottom. Close it again and following resumes.

Bottom: Composer

Where you type. Quick buttons for attachments (paperclip), skills (lightbulb), and stopping the AI (stop button).

Top: Header

Mode selector, model picker, settings (gear), help (?), sidebar toggle, and — at the far right, beside the window controls — the Zen / Studio pill.

Zen or Studio

Two ways to see the same conversation. Click the pill in the top-right corner to switch, or press ⌥⌘Z for Zen and ⌥⌘S for Studio (Alt+Ctrl+Z / Alt+Ctrl+S on Windows and Linux).

  • Zen Mode — distraction-free writing. Message actions stay hidden until you hover, focus, or tap a message; per-message model names and app badges are gone; the length readout in the header counts words instead of tokens. Zen is the default.
  • Studio Mode — everything on. Model badges, per-message detail, telemetry, and diagnostics.

Settings has the same pill, so a Zen settings view shows the essentials and Studio shows the power-user controls.

Message Actions

Hover an assistant reply (or tap it in Zen) for Copy, Rerun, Share to web, and Speak message — which becomes Stop speaking while it reads. More actions holds copy-as-Markdown and plain text, taking down a page you published, and delete.

Your own messages get the same bar, with Edit and Rerun. Rerunning your prompt starts a fresh reply as a branch, and the branch picker keeps the original so you can compare the two.

Publish a Conversation to the Web

Share to web turns a conversation into a page anyone with the link can open — no account needed on their end. You set the Public title, choose how long it Stays up for, and decide whether to Allow search engines (off by default). The page shows your prompts, the names of the tools the assistant used, and its answers. It leaves out hidden reasoning, tool inputs, queries and results, your attachments, and system prompts.

Publishing the same conversation again updates the page you already shared, so a link you've sent keeps working. Everything you've published is listed in Settings > Data > Shared pages, and comes down within about a minute of you removing it.

Heads up — the link is unguessable but not secret. Treat it like a password: anyone who has it can read the page.

Talk to It While It Works

You don't have to wait for a run to finish:

  • Queue a message — Type while the AI is working and press Send to agent: your note is picked up at the agent's next step and shapes what it does. You can queue several; each shows a Queued badge while it waits.
  • Interrupt — If things are heading the wrong way, press Interrupt and send instead: the run stops and your message is sent as a regular new message.
  • Nothing vanishes silently — If a run ends before reading a queued message, it's marked Not delivered, with Send now and Trash buttons so you decide what happens to it.

On a phone or tablet, the on-screen keyboard's Return key starts a new line. Tap Send to send — or press Cmd+Return / Ctrl+Return if you have a hardware keyboard attached.
