What You Can Install

Tools

Integrations for services like Slack, Notion, Linear, GitHub, Atlassian, PandaDoc, and Microsoft 365. Tools bring actions into Caiioo—send a message, create a ticket, read a document.

Modes

Pre-configured AI personalities. Use for Legal (ships with 15 legal skills and buy/sell-side playbooks), or install specialized modes for design, sales, engineering, and more.

MCP Servers

Connect remote MCP servers over HTTP/SSE, or run desktop tools (local MCP via the desktop app) on your own machine. The Hub ships with 55 self-registering MCP servers you can install with one click — from Slack, Notion, and Linear to Sentry, Supabase, Zapier, and PayPal.

Skills

Reusable prompts for tasks you do often—market research, legal analysis, design feedback. Many Hub apps include skill bundles you install along with the main package.

Reference Materials

Template attachments (PDFs, Slate docs, playbooks) drop straight into your library when you install. Example: Legal playbooks land in your attachment library ready to use.

How to Install

Open caiioo.ai/hub, or search Settings for Community Hub and click Browse the Community Hub.

Click Install
If the package needs sign-in, the install notice names the services. Open Settings > Connectors, open each one marked Sign in needed, and click Sign in. If a previous connection no longer works, it is marked Reconnect; click Sign in again.

Or just ask. Tell Caiioo what you're trying to do, and if it needs something it doesn't have yet, it can search the Hub for you, show you what a package does, and install it once you approve. It can also list your MCP servers, add a new one, and start a sign-in — including for a server that's stuck waiting on authorization.

On iPhone, iPad, and Android this works too: the caiioo.ai hub shows a single "Install in the Caiioo app" button on phones, and tapping it opens the app's Community Hub section in Settings to run the install — even when the app wasn't already running. For tools that require signing in (Notion, Linear, and the like), open the service in Connectors and click Sign in. This opens a system sign-in window on iPhone and iPad or a browser tab on Android. Your approval is handed back to the app to finish the connection.

Packages with several connections: If a package needs Slack and Notion, sign in to each service from Connectors. Installing the package does not start those sign-ins for you.

Cross-Device Sync

Install on your Mac? It appears on your iPhone (and vice versa). Personal forks sync too. Per-package vector clocks prevent overwrites, so you never lose changes if you install offline.

Install Links (`caiioo://` Protocol)

See an install link online or in an email? Click it and Caiioo handles the rest. If you have the extension and native app both, a picker appears—choose which to use. The install modal shows the full per-package payload (tools, modes, skills, MCPs, variables, reference materials) before you commit.

My Apps: Fork and Customize

Want to tweak a Hub app for your workflow? Fork it.

In Settings > Apps & Skills > My Apps:

Find a Hub app you want to customize
Click Fork (creates a personal copy with full edit access)
Edit its primitives: tools, skills, modes, cards, views, workflows, template attachments, variables
Changes sync across your devices
The original Hub app stays in the Hub; your fork stays in My Apps

You can also snapshot a conversation into a draft personal app — handy when you've built a specialized workflow and want to save it for reuse.

Variables Dialog

Hub apps can include a variables dialog. When you install an app with variables, a composer button appears labeled with the app name. Click it to surface the app's custom variable UI. This is how Hub apps let you configure things like "my Slack workspace" or "my legal jurisdiction" without diving into settings.

Finish Signing In

In Settings, the Connectors badge shows how many connectors need you to sign in. Open Connectors, open each one marked Sign in needed or Reconnect, and click Sign in or Sign in again. The badge updates when you sign in, turn a connector off, or remove it.

See What an App Includes

In Settings > Apps & Skills > Community Hub, click What it includes under an installed app. You see its modes, skills, tools, connectors, workflows and the accounts it uses. Click a heading to open the settings that manage that kind of item, or a connector or account to open it in Connectors. Anywhere in Settings, a From label on an item ("From My Day") brings you back here.

Overlap Warnings

Installing a package that duplicates existing modes, skills, or tools? The install screen shows a warning with overlap details, and you'll see per-row duplication indicators in the Hub list and in your Settings inventory.

Uninstall Everything at Once

Uninstall a package and it removes everything: modes, composer buttons, skills, template attachments, mode-variable patches, cached system-disable list, and the active mode if it came from that package. You're left clean.

It keeps the account permissions you granted (Google, Microsoft). To take those back, open the account in Settings > Connectors.
